If we arrive at Szob by ferry, the cycle path begins right at the exit of the ferry. After Szob, we pass through Zebegény — it is worth visiting the village, which has a special atmosphere and settlement structure, or you can even spend the night here, as there are bicycle-friendly accommodations. After Zebegény, following the winding Danube, we reach Nagymaros, from where you can enjoy the brathtaking view of the Visegrád hills rising on the other side of the Danube, and of course the citadel of Visegrád. We can take a ferry from Nagymaros to Visegrad to see the renaissance royal palace. After Nagymaros we follow the cycle path all the way to Verőce where we go out onto the main road for a couple of kms. All the way along the banks of the Danube, we reach Vác where we cross the river again. The ferry from Vác goes to Szentendre Island, from where we approach Tahitótfalu via a bridge, where we have to drive a few km again on the main road, be very careful. From Leányfalu, we can travel on a safe cycle path through Szentendre to Budapest.
