On this section, you can see Budapest's most famous attractions – from afar. Perhaps the most beautiful view of the Parliament opens from Batthyányi Square. We ride by the feet of Gellért Hill, having a look at the new National Theater and the Palace of the Arts on the other side. We cross the Rákóczi Bridge, the southernmost bridge in Budapest, to the left bank of the Danube, where the EuroVelo 6 route continues on Csepel Island. On the island, the cycling route runs along the right bank of the Ráckeve branch of the Danube, then at Ráckeve we cross the bridge to the left bank of this branch.
