Leaving Szentgotthárd, the route climbs gently toward Máriaújfalu and Farkasfa, then continues through Templomszer and Őriszentpéter among the Őrség’s characteristic scattered villages. Around Nagyrákos and Kisrákos the scenery opens into broad valleys and wooded meadows. After passing Őrimagyarósd and Katafa, the terrain softens, leading along quiet rural roads through Szarvaskend and Döbörhegy before descending toward Gersekarát and Vasvár.
