From Sátoraljaújhely, the route heads toward Sárospatak, following the calm riverside scenery and the town’s historic atmosphere. Between Bodrogolaszi and Olaszliszka the terrain remains flat and river-bound, while around Bodrogkisfalud and Bodrogkeresztúr the characteristic vineyards of the Tokaj wine region begin to dominate the view. Reaching Tokaj, the meeting point of the Bodrog and the Tisza provides a striking finale to the stage.
